Our Programs
Spay & Neuter
Our Spay and Neuter Program reduces pet overpopulation by offering affordable surgeries that promote healthier pets and a more compassionate community.
Pet Food Pantry
Our Pet Food Pantry helps families in need keep their pets healthy and at home by providing free pet food to Duplin County residents. It’s one simple way we ensure no pet goes hungry and no family has to give up a beloved companion.
Rabies Clinic
Our Rabies Clinic protects pets and people by providing low-cost vaccinations that keep animals healthy and our community safe.
Temp. Boarding for Code Red
PFDC funds up to two weeks of rescue boarding for at-risk shelter dogs and covers spay/neuter for six dogs per shelter at up to 16 shelters quarterly, reducing litters, lowering fees, and increasing adoptions.
DCAS Support
Our DCAS Support program partners with Duplin County Animal Services to help find loving homes for stray and unwanted animals. Every adoption and rescue makes space for another life to be saved.
Shelter Spay/Neuter
PFDC funds the spay/neuter surgeries of 6 shelter dogs and up to 16 shelter quarterly, increasing the adoption rate of these loving animals.
